Manchester United target Thiago's stunning hat-trick for Spain

If David Moyes had any doubts about going after Thiago this summer, those doubts have just been banished.
Thiago produced a superb performance and a stunning hat-trick to fire Spain to glory in the Under-21 European Championship final against Italy, which will now make this potentially the most talked about transfer of the summer.
United have been linked with Thiago for several weeks with the player open to the prospect of playing regularly for the Premier League champions despite the recent retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson.
He’s been tipped as the best possible replacement for Paul Scholes that United have so far been linked with and a player who can improve the current United midfield in a big way.
His potential is so big that current Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has effectively pleaded with the Spanish club to pay more attention to his future and trying to keep him in Spain.
It certainly hasn’t affected the player because his three goals were all superb. The first a bullet header from a solid technique, his second a great piece of skill while under pressure from a defender and his third a deft little penalty.
