Crystal Palace chief to wait for Man Utd answer on Zaha

Transfer news: Crystal Palace would love to welcome Wilfried Zaha back to Selhurst Park on loan next season – but chief executive Phil Alexander insists the decision rests with Manchester United.
The 20-year-old signed for United in a £15million deal in January before spending the remainder of the campaign on loan at his boyhood club as they won promotion via the play-offs.
Speculation over Zaha’s future has been rife in recent months, with some suggestions that the Eagles could look to sign the England starlet on loan for a second time.
Alexander admits Palace are likely to suggest a loan deal to Man Utd, but he insists the decision is out of their hands.
He told Sky Sports News: “It’s another option, clearly that’s up to Manchester United. He’s their player now.
“Will we be asking? We’ll probably ask in passing but it’s really down to them.
“Would we love to see Wilfried back? Of course we would but he’s got a career at Manchester United and, after a few training sessions up there, I’m not sure they’ll be willing to let him out on loan.”
