With
the release of the fixtures at 9am the first name that the Swans fans
saw was a fixture with Premier League Champions Manchester United at the
Liberty. The tie - at the Liberty on August 17 will pitch the Swans
against the 13 time Premier League winners and give us our first home
start in the Premier League
I'm sure that many
scanned down the list then for the derby games with Cardiff City that
will take place on 2 November at the Cardiff City Stadium and Saturday 8
Feb at the Liberty . Given the track record of these fixtures both
are almost certain to be switched to Sunday clashes and I would be
amazed if both were not screened live by Sky.
The
festive season always brings an interest and this Christmas you will
catch the Swans in action at Chelsea on Boxing Day and Aston Villa two
days later. Manchester City visit the Liberty on New Years Day.
Easter
time is another busy period and this time around the Swans have a game
on Easter Saturday against Newcastle. The bad news for the Jacks is
that it is in Newcastle so Easter Weekend up North anyone?
The league season closes for the Swans with a fixture against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
The
FA Cup Final returns to its more traditional time of a week after the
league season finishes and will take place at Wembley on 17 May
