Everton’s are yet to receive any formal bids for their much hyped Belgian star Marouane Fellaini, reports ESPN.
The 25 year old has been a much coveted target for some of the biggest
names in English football – Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea – but
none of the side has chosen to make a move till now.
Fellaini had earlier fuelled speculation regarding his uncertain
future at Goodison Park after it was reported that the Belgian has
revealed of his wishes to move to London this summer, from where he
would be just two hours away from his birthplace Etterbeek in Brussels,
on the Eurostar rail service. The news gave rise to reports that a move
to the Emirates or Stamford Bridge might be on his mind.
Manchester United has been another club which has been interested in
acquiring his services for a long time. With ex-Everton boss David Moyes
taking over the reins of the club next month, many expect Fellaini to
follow his mentor to Old Trafford.
However, the news that there are no formal offers at yet for the
Belgian will be a relief to the Everton faithful, who will no doubt be
anxious about retaining their young superstar
