Manchester United's first match under David Moyes is in danger of
being cancelled if FIFA hands out sanctions to the Football Association
of Thailand.

Moyes begins his reign as Red Devils boss with a match against
the Singha All Stars XI scheduled to take place in Bangkok on July 13.
Chelsea are set to play the same opposition just days later, while
Liverpool and Barcelona have also scheduled pre-season games in
Thailand.
However, all those matches, as well as any others involving clubs
outside of the Southeast Asian nation may be called off after Pattaya
FC, a team from Thailand fourth-tier, won an injunction that prevents
the Thai FA casting a vote to give them the right to amend their
regulations to put them in line with the world governing body.
Should the matter not be resolved by next week, FIFA could impose
a ban that would prohibit the country from international competition.
The outgoing president of the Thai Football Association Worawi
Makudi, who is also FIFA committee member, told The Nation: "I don't
want to speculate on the consequences of a possible sanction but FIFA
stated the suspension would prevent us from having international
contact.
"I assume it includes everything. [If our] association gets suspended, nobody would want to get involved."
Jaturon Himathongkom, Singha Corp's sports marketing director,
added: "We can't say whether the conflict will affect our matches. What I
can say is that, if all the four matches were cancelled due to any
reason, would that be fair for the fans?
"They are looking forward to watching these big matches, and all tickets [for the United game] are sold out."
