Thiago Alcantara moved a step closer to Manchester United after report in the Daily Mail suggests that the Barcelona midfielder ha agreed personal terms with the Premier League Champions of £5million-a-year. Negotiations with Barcelona are going on and a formal announcement is not expected soon but United are hopeful of completing the deal as the Spaniard has fallen way down the pecking order at Camp Nou. United manager David Moyes has revived his interest in Thiago after being left wanting due to the financial constraints at Everton.
Alvaro Morata’s stock rose after his 4-goal haul at the recently concluded Under-21 Euro Championships got him the tournament’s Golden Boot award.
